The Sterling

The Sterling home broke ground on April 8, 2005 in Krpans Parkside Estates in Sycamore, IL. Greeted by the 6'-0" deep covered porch, you enter the home through a generous foyer. From this vantage point you can look into both the dining room, living room, and beyond to the dinette area. The large openings between the rooms provide a view at every turn with an abundance of natural light in all directions. The Dining Room features paneled wainscoting and tray ceiling accented by crown molding. As you pass the open staircase and enter the Dinette you get the first glimpse of the 400 square foot Kitchen/Dinette area. The Kitchen features an 8"-0" long breakfast bar, an abundance of cabinets, and a walk-in pantry. From the Dinette you can view the Family Room featuring a masonry fireplace, transom windows, and large bay window. The eight foot wide opening to the Living Room allows the rooms to flow as one large living space. As you pass through the Kitchen to the large Laundry/Mud Room you are surprised by a special light filled space. The Away Room with its vaulted ceiling and arched top window is a place just for you. There are three upstairs bedrooms in addition to the Master Bedroom, each with something unique. One bedroom has a large window seat, another with a vaulted ceiling and arched window, and a third with a private bath. Each of these rooms have walk-in closets. As you enter the Master Bedroom through a set of recessed double doors the twenty-one foot long room seems even larger with its ten foot high tray ceiling. Passing through a second set of double doors, your view is focused on the arched top window over the whirlpool tub. The Master Bath features two seperate vanities, a large shower with seat, an enclosed toilet, a linen closet, and two seperate walk-in closets.
